C. 1900 Painting of Boaters on Souvenir Paddle

A little loss to the bottom edge of this pine wood paddle, but I thought the little oil painting of two boaters on it too charming to leave behind. I believe this dates to the late 19th/early 20th century and would have been a souvenir purchased at a vacation spot, clearly somewhere on the water! In addition to the transportive view, I love the self-referential nature of it, especially--a miniature painting of a paddle on a paddle.

16 1/16" l x 3 13/16" t; painting itself is 3 7/8" wide. Loss to the paddle as evident, which could be smoothed a bit with a little sanding if desired; painting in very good condition.
