Excellent Early Stone Fruit Pear

As you know if you follow, I've become quite smitten with stone fruit, and am on an ongoing quest to pluck the very best pieces I come across. This pear is absolutely as lovely as they come, the most delicate, pale shade of pear yellow, with tiny spots of brown to perfectly portray the skin and subtle darkening here and there to suggest bruises. In addition there are a few dark veins in the marble that lend a sense of depth to the color, plus one very dark brown spot in addition to the dark patch at the center of the bottom. Really a beauty.

Approx. 3 5/8" l x 2 3/4" in diameter and in excellent condition.
