Atmospheric Oil on Board Seashore Painting, Framed and Under Glass

Another one found in Maine this week and I would bet painted en plein air on the coast somewhere between Maine and Massachusetts. I've been finding myself attracted of late to soft, very atmospheric sorts of landscapes that just kind of wash over you; this one for example, feeling like deep breath, strikes me as just the right sort of one to look at while soaking in the tub! Lovely.

12 5/8" x 10 5/8" framed. Oil on board, framed, as found, in a nice old gold painted wooden frame, behind glass. I would guess 1920s-40s? Painting is in very good condition. It appears one back side panel of the frame was replaced at some point, not visible from the front. Wired for hanging.
