Initially founded to make toy pianos, the Schoenhut Piano Company, based in Philadelphia, debuted its Humpty Dumpty Circus in 1903-- the best thing they ever made, not just for the clowns and animals, but also for the circus furniture, including ladders and pedestals and this perfect chair.
