I've never seen another pair quite like these, a pair of miniature chairs, one a rocker, cut from tin and painted red and black like toleware. They feel of a piece with those antique house and church shaped tole painted still banks I like so much--in the same palette too, which makes me think likely late 19th century. And with fabulous gothic-feeling detailing to backs and sides--including some very sharp points, as if to say hands--or bottoms--off!
Each approx 2 7/8" t x 1 3/4" w; rocker 2 5/8" d, other 2 1/8" d. Good presumed antique condition, with paint loss as evident, which I like.
