Another lovely old whimsy as I can't resist these either. All carved from one piece of woo, this one has a great architectural form and scale to it, and a curious little mushroom top, with ring that slides a bit up and down. Perhaps there was once another little piece there, I'm not sure, but I think it's good just as it is. And those two well carved balls in the cage are quite satisfying.
9 15/16" t x 1 7/16" w x 1 5/16" d and in very good antique condition.
