Rudd's Nite Club ,spelled out about the head of this very beatific boy (and in fact the full name was Rudd's Beach and Nite Club) appears to have been quite the hub for fun and action in Schenectady, NY in the 1940s and 50s, hosting "superb music to dance to...under soft lights" multiple floor shows each night, "perfect food and refreshments," and claiming the title of "Northern NY's finiest nite club." All of which makes me the presence of this angelic looking very young man was up to there! Perfectly, the illuminition of his face, and that gently smiling, angelic but also expectant looking expression, add up to the sense that he is just on the cusp of crossing the threshold into a whole new, exciting world! It's been quite a while since I really fell in love with a photomatic, but I think this one is just perfect.
3 1/8" x 2 9/16" and in great condition, perfectly aged. With 8/23/42 and Rudd's written in on the back.
