I found the ink and crayon drawings of leaves in this one just too good to resist--and there's a pretty excellent drawing of a bicycle stuck loose inside the pages, too. Two oak leaves, a Solomon's Seal leaf, Cherry leaf, a partially colored Common Shrub leaf, and a colorful composition of a bunch laid out together. Otherwise lots of song lyrics and poems and what not, including a very naively written "My Country Tis Of Thee" in what looks to be a different hand.
6 7/8 x 8 3/8. 29 pages filled mostly one side only, with some blank pages. Photos show all pages with leaf drawings, and a sampling of pages with writing but not at all comprehensive on those. The cover is partially torn, the first drawing shows some staining, and the first and second have tears near the bottom. Not a precious sort of thing but a very sweet one.
