It's been a bit since I found a painted folk art tintype I really love, but connection at first sight with this young woman, found in Maine. I love her intensity and pink cheeks and expression, which feels like a cross between pout and snarl! Excellent hair and headband too. And with what looks like a drippy red signature at lower right. Full of life/
8 3/8" x 6 1/2". Good condition, with some light bends to tin at upper corners, more pronounced in phots than in hand. Paint in very good condition.
