Not a great joke--really, I think it is in part its awkwardness that makes this appeal to me. And also the fact that the waiter looks to me very much like Vladimir Putin, and it seems to me if Vladimir Putin were a waiter this is exactly how he would respond to this very earnest looking woman's question. I also really like the fact that she is dining alone, and the place setting in front of her, and her shoes peeking up below the tablecloth!
7 1/8" x 5" and in good shape, with a couple of spots along the edge of the tablecloth where the ink smeared a bit. I might guess 1930s or so but am really not sure.
