I'm not sure it gets much more British than this sweet hand-painted postcard of gabled, ivy covered cottage in Derbyshire, which, having googled cottages in Derbyshire, is indeed 100% quintessential, though I could not find a reference to the Jan Ford cottages noted at upper right. Nicely done in watercolor, with very thick, painterly application, or maybe even oil paint, used for the bushes/trees and ivy. Lovely, and with an unused back for addressing and sending it yet.
