As you surely know by now, nothing delights me more than old drawings, the more naive the better. These four are from a larger group of 19th c. graphite drawings I found yesterday at a show in New Hampshire, which I've divided into sets--so many fabulous little animals! The faces on that lion and those bears are especially wonderful!
Elephant: 5 1/4" x 4 1/8". Bears: 4 7/8" x 4 3/16". Lion" 4 15/16" x 3 7/8". Buffalo: 4 7/8" x 3 3/4". All in very good condition, no tears, embossed marks in corners.
