Chocolate, c. 1910s Etched Glass Soda Fountain Syrup Bottle

Regular price $85.00

I found this one in Maine, and believe it is an old soda fountain bottle, which would have been filled with chocolate syrup, with what I believe is the original, probably silver plated jigger/cap still sitting atop it. For me (including as a chocolate lover) it makes an excellent found object of sorts, embodying nothing less than pure desire! And of course it would be great on the bar now, filled with the makings of, say a chocolate martini.

11" t x 3 3 /8" d. Very good condition. Hard to photographed but I've done my best, lettering is etched into the surface of the glass, which shows some bubbles and very light seams up the sides. I have not tried to polish the cap, which shows surface tarnishing as evident.
