I purchased them from an Ohio based dealer at the Rhinebeck show, and would have scooped up everything he had acquired from their collection if I could have. This is a small carving but with a very soulful and very proud presence! Carved of pine I believe, with black stain\/paint used for his hair, coat and shoes, and a little bowtie too I think, all beautifully worn and aged, very rich and warm dry patina. He will stand on his own on a flat surface. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e 4\" t x 1 3\/8\" w.
