The underside of this one, which I purchased in Nashville from a dealer based in Iowa who always has many things I love, shows it was crafted from a Morris D. Neumann 5 cent cigar box, a fairly rare one, dating it to the first decade of the 20th century I believe. I like its neat compactness and all of those scalloped edges, each layer stepping in just a bit from the one below it. And a red velvet lined interior compartment, as there should be inside a box with a heart, with velvet on the interior of the lid, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e 8 1\/8\" x 5 1\/8\" x 2 1\/8\" t.
