Shepherd of Passaic, New Jersey and New York for use in school drawing and penmanship lessons. With a we\u003c\/span\u003edge shape overall, to create an angled writing and drawing surface, and the  patterns featuring line drawings of faces and features, animals, furniture and household objects, and geometric shapes, as well as alphabets, numbers, and words.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDivided into three parts, the underisde might once have functioned to hold slate pencils and the like, but I can't get the top compartment to open easily, and the upper of the lower two, covered with paper label, stay in place better with the help of a little tape along the edge. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e10 9\/16\" x 7 13\/16\" x 2\" tallest. Slate and inserts in very good condition, reads crisp and sharp.
