A beautiful and rather iconic feeling image I think, times two, each print with its own particular character and beauty.  I especially like that that there is a flaw at lower right corner that repeats in both images (reading as a white line across the corner)--linking them both the to the original negative from which they were printed, I presume a glass plate. (But there is also a note on the back of the paper print reading \"make 2 prints\" along with name \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eClyde D. Love (what a name!)--maybe possible a negative was made from the print then used to make the cyanotype? ) Adding another layer, there is a loose thread at the upper corner of that lower corner flaw line on the silk cyanotype, which calls attention to the printed flaw looking very much like a hand-stitched mend! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach 5 \" x 3 7\/8\" (cyanotype 5 1\/8\"). Both in excellent condition. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"critical EYE Finds","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48567633215742,"sku":null,"price":75.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0015\/5022\/1382\/files\/IMG_9918copy.png?v=1783693269","url":"https:\/\/www.criticaleyefinds.com\/products\/rare-pair-cowboy-dog-horses-and-a-flaw-early-1900s-cyanotype-on-silk-and-sepia-print-from-same-negative","provider":"critical EYE Finds","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
