Puma! Vintage British Watercolor After Arthur Wardle (1860-1949)

A quick search will turn up lots of drawings of wild cats done by Arthur Wardle (1860-1949). I've included a photo of some cigarette cards incorporating what I believe is the head of a puma that inspired this one--but I'll take this watercolor done after it any day, which to my eye imparts this wild cat with a great deal of soul.
