I found this one at the Rhinebeck show last weekend and thought it fantastically beautiful--like the sort of 19th c. geometric watercolors or ink drawings I am always hoping for but rarely finding, and all the better for being stitched together of lushly colored, carefully cut pieces of velvet. And the flip side is as good as the front in a different sort of way, showing the backing as sewn together of pieces of what I believe is sack cloth, some printed with various marks and labels. Certainly this could be used as the face of a very wonderful pillow, which may be what it once was, but I'd be inclined to frame it.
Approx 19 5/8" wide and tall and in good condition, with a bit of spotted lightening to one section of the perimeter velvet, minor and I don't think detracting.
