Made by Lazarus Straus \u0026amp; Songs, England, with a 1882 patent date.  There were a few other versions of these clock faced plates made, but no other I've seen with this best combination of clock and alphabet and terrific bright blue rim. A few imperfections to the transfer decoration, original to it, and some light, all over crazing. Reads bright and crisp.
