Each square was painted, cut out, and adhered to the board, and there is a layer of acetate that was laid over it, folded around the sides, and adhered to the back side. I untaped one side to photograph it and it is easily removed entirely and tossed away, but has had the benefit of protecting it, and the colors remain very vibrant. I'm a huge sucker for a color study, and a grid, too, and find this very satisfying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e16 1\/4\" x 11 1\/4\". I can't promise that a square won't come loose at some point, but if so easy to remount with a bit of glue or small roll of mending tape.
