This doll feels one part bedpost one part Creative Playthings to me, with her crayon-colored dress and smiling face making her very much her own singular, sweet self. Im not sure if the wooden form was repurposed from something else or carved by a parent or grandparent to be a doll , but I'd guess she dates to the 50s or 60s, and I think she's really fabulous.
6 7/8" t x 2 4/5" w x 1 2/4" and in very good condition, much better than photos convey.
