Hands everywhere! Very unusual to find a mold like this cast of bronze it seems to me, which makes me think perhaps this was cast from a cast of a pewter mold as something of an art piece(?) Whatever the case, its existence in bronze certainly makes it feel like an art object (2 objects really) and I really love these rows of waving hands, which lend themselves to various presentations in relation to one another but are also quite nice divided up; they will stand up and one can be stacked atop the other. They are also nice laid flat, as if with palms up waiting to receive donations!
8 x 2 15/16" x 1 1/4” d (together); same individually just 3/4”. Solid and quite heavy, with variation in color and some greening, especially on the back of one of them.
