(They make me think of a marvelous small quilt of probably about the same age I had a few years ago with a pieced cornflower blue heart border--one of my favorite things ever; I've included a photo just for fun.) Anyway, the fact that these six survived together in excellent condition makes it feels right to try to keep them together, and there is then the pleasure of seeing the variations from one to the next, as these were painted (using hand-cut stencils\/sponges) by hand. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach plate 6 1\/8\" d.
