And this set looks perhaps to have once been part of a museum collection, with a small white rectangle carefully painted on one end of each and every block, and the box too, bearing the number 80.111. They fill their large original (beautifully finger jointed) crate four layers deep and then some--but surely some were lost along the way and so not the final, top (fifth) layer.(And grooves at the top suggest the crate once had a slide lid, but that is long gone.) To my sensibilities these are satisfying in the way that geometric solids are, as well as very excellent to  build very tall towers with! General wear to the blocks and old losses to a couple of the  top edges of the crate, which is holding together pretty well but best carried holding from underneath it. Heavy!
