I just couldn't resist the dense layering of elements here, crossed gavels at top, \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003ecompass, square, and arm-and-hammer below (symbolizing \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eindustriousness, craftsmanship, and manual labor), woven American flag in between, and (I especially like) dangling metal for the \"North Star\" Council (No. 222). C. 1890s or so, I believe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3 9\/16\" x 1 1\/2\". Very good antique condition. Woven flag, which would be the most fragile component, is in excellent condition. Light general tanish\/surface wear otherwise.
