Perhaps an army of cut paper soldiers and warriors--or a menagerie of paper animals, listed separately--would not set everyone's heart racing, but they sure do for me. (And though I completely oppose this administration's tariff insanity, I would yet argue that toys cut from paper are superior to ones imported from China:)) Though many of these share similar poses, each one is a bit (or significantly) different than the next, with graphite drawn details on some and two in blue crayon. Most were cut from ledger paper (a few with some writing on it) but the Native Americans from a more substantial, card-weight cardboard. My guess is perhaps made at school long ago or by a few different siblings--perhaps with the help of a more dexterous mother or teacher doing some of the finer cutting.
Top left soldier approx 3 1/2" tall. All in very good condition, equally good on both sides. All pictured included.
