I'm so often struck by the playful the use of language on 19th century objects, from snuff to Battersea boxes, and on transferware pottery, too. This snuff box I believe dates to the 1820s or so, as I've found a few other examples with gold text of a similar ilk, and I especially love seeing the use of "Holla" on this one! Pretty fun.
2 7/8" x 1 3/4" x 3/4". Good condition, with a little surface lost on the face, as evident. Great structural condition.
