I'm listing these two together as I'd love to seem them stick together as they have for maybe close to hundred years, but the price is PER DOLL.
Anyway, what a couple of characters! I assume they're meant to be husband and wife, though the one in fabulous red silk polka dot pajamas has lost much of its facial features, and perhaps a crown of red hair too, so it's a bit hard to know for sure. (But what an amazing crop of gray yarn hair he has!) Their bodies are sewn of silk, and their outfits too, and it seems to red pajama one may have once been been blue, as looking under the jacket shows, and the old man shows fairly green from the back, so likely they were once even more colorful than they are now!
Old man measures 15 1/4" long; polka dots 16" long. He's got a few pieces of yarn hair that might come off if pulled and one hole on the back of one arm, but is not actively losing stuffing. Plenty of holes in the polka dot pajamas, and stains here and there on both. Otherwise they're pretty structurally sound and stable, with no loose seams that I can see, and I certainly love them all the more for all of their years.
