Finding this made me purely happy--wouldn't it be a nicer world if people spent their spare time making rock collections again? Housed in an old cookie/biscuit tin with flowers on the lid, this one includes a note card detailing at least some of the contents and where they were found, from a railroad bed in Georgia, to Jones Beach to Kington, NY to the (NY State) Thurway--and a piece of Crystal Quartz from "Louise and Moshe". Photos document all of it, including some lovely coral samples, a fossilized tooth, and a piece petrified wood.
Tin measures 8" in diameter. Petrified wood piece for reference: 2 1/2" l. Lovely!
