Pretty Hand-painted Cream and Blue Handled Vase, Presumed Mid-C Scandanavian

Regular price $45.00

I suppose it's possible that this vessel once had a lid, but even if it did, I at least would stash it away and just use this as a vase. There's no mark on it, but it certainly feels mid-century Scandanavian, and I'd think Danish specifically. Just pretty. I might fill it with tall grasses or cattails for winter, and then a few first branches of forsythia or redbud in early spring.

Very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks. As documented, there are a few small stains / dark marks visible against the white near the top, which I have not worked on but which might come away with some bleach or baking soda, and in any event are pretty minor. It also appears that there are a few smudges of blue glaze indigenous to the piece. 8 1/8" t x 3 1/2" d; 4 1/2" across at handles.
