This is the second of three old steel die I am listing, this one slightly smaller and not quite as heavy as the first, which would have been used to cut leather for gloves and mittens. I also have the (very large and very heavy) maul that would have been used to pound them into the leather to cut it--if you have an interest in that, just let me know! I love these as objects, both graphic and sculptural, and the handle makes a handy stand. Both the face and edges of the hand-shape show old red paint, plus somes rust, as evident, all to the good in my opinion.
6 1/8" x 3 5/16" x 5 5/8" d. Surface aging as evident but completely indestructible.
