Pure joy to find this one the other day in Rockland, Maine - just exactly the sort of them I am forever hoping to find, and a reminder that good things come in small packages! Though the cover says Autographs, it's much better than that, filled instead with graphite drawings by a very young Milly Nash, who seems to have been assisted with narrative by a mother or a teacher in a few spots--though Milly has tried her hand at writing here and there too, to supreme effect! But mostly it is wonderfully naive drawings--some portraits, some fairies flying, some collections of objects, some houses and animals and flowers and all sorts of things. All wonderful, and I've documented it fully so as to hold on to it digitally at least!
17 pages filled front and back (34 faces). 3 13/16” x 2 5/8”. Very good condition, all pages bound, cover and spine in good shape. Just minor toning, all drawings clear and fairly bold.
