I don’t know the first thing about how to throw a boomerang, but I’d be much more inclined to hang this one—Native Aboriginal Australian and made of mulga wood—on the wall, rather than risking sending it (inevitably) through someone’s window! As you know I am a fan of carvings of all sorts, and love how the instinct to decorate through carving manifests in/on objects from most every culture. Here it is three wonderful kangaroos that animate the surface of the boomerang — hard to see in overall photos but clear in details and much better in person.
19 7/8” measured tip to tip, 2 5/16” at widest. Very good condition.
