Beautiful Condition Large Antique Seneca Beaded Star Pin Cushion

I am drawn to Native American beadwork wherever I can find it, and pin cushions are an excellent vehicle for delivering it! This is Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and specifically Seneca, later 19th century I believe. 5 3/8" x 5 1/4", very good condition, glass beads on velvet with light blue fabric back. On the face, just two lost strands to one of the eight sprigs, otherwise excellent, with next to no wear. Beading along the sides also in excellent condition. Some wear and stains on the reverse. Very sturdy and sound, no holes or loose seams, shows beautifully and very crisply.
