If this charmer of a carved plaque doesn't bring good luck, I don't know what will! All carved from one piece of wood with the horse head and spur (which, happily, also looks like a wish bone) in deep relief, popping against golden ground, with satisfying bubbling to the varnished surface. 1920s-30s I would guess, with a wire loop on the back for hanging. Wonderful.
7 7/8" x 6 3/4" and in very good condition with a really terrific surface.
