More than three feet long, this great old sign is plenty large to be readable from the street should one want to hang on the front porch; I first saw it from far away and made a dash straight for it. The green-painted letters on one side, nailed onto the sign, are about 3/4" of an inch raised; the other side seems once to have had them as well but they were removed, leaving a great surface behind that I like as much as the front. Great angled sides which make me think it was once a motel sign c. 1940s-50s I'd guess, and great patina now, with nice crackling of the paint on the letters, with a some old red paint (showing pink) coming through.
41" l x 11 3/8" t x 2"d. Sturdy and sound, with eye hooks for hanging.
