Not at all my usual thing, but I've kind of fallen in love with this guy, a fine Mottahedeh hand-painted porcelain reproduction of an 18th century Chinese porcelain hound, which featured in the collection of Mottahedeh china company founders Mildred and Rafi Mottahedeh. (Quite the interesting couple, much more about them here.) The dog, which I must say has quite an animated, rather life-like presence, I believe dates to the 1970s or so, is signed (incised) Mottahedeh on the underside and features its original sticker.
Excellent condition, with no flaws whatsoever that I can see. 9 1/2" long x 5 7/8" tall x 6 7/8" deep.
