This one! I found it standing next to the dog I've also just listed, perhaps made by the same maker 80-100 years ago based on two much beloved pets, I'm not sure. The seller I purchased it from properly honored this double sided kitty by having a custom stand fabricated, which suits it very well and allows for appreciating her from 360 degrees! The painterly red collar, very wide on one side, narrower on the other, really does it for me, especially combined with the large tack eyes, one painted red, the other mostly white with a bit of red around the pupil. Chippy white paint everywhere else. Lots of character, but also a wonderful sort of stoicism and powerful sort of clarity about it! Love.
11” w measured on the square including base. 10 5/8” tall; 3” deep at base. Wood is 13/16” d. C. 1920s-40s, I'd guess earilier than later. Good condition, chippy paint not chipping off, no losses or damage. Much better in person, I'm terrible photographing whites!
