Crocheted Bottle Cap Trivet

I never cease to be amazed by the wealth of crafty objects people used to make, and the resourcefulness so many of them represent. Indeed, bottle caps alone provided the raw material for all sorts of wonderful things, including crocheted trivets like this one! I've seen a few others of these meant to represent bunches of grapes, but love that the maker of this one did her own thing, making this one unique and extra special. It's cream color then decorated with two different shades of pink petals with light green at the centers--like a triangle-shaped bunch of flowers. Super sweet.

Great vintage condition, and super useful as a trivet on the dinner table or just for a cup of tea. 7 7/8" tall x 7" wide x 3/8" thick.
