I don't know a lot about glass, and don't buy a lot of it, but this large, rich blue vase, etched with very MCM lozenge pattern (a bit tricky to photograph), was too beautiful to leave behind. I bought it at a sale that included lots of Scandinavian modern, and would guess it is likely Danish, but I don't know for sure. Regardless, really a striking piece, which would I think be especially fantastic filled with Asiatic lilies, French tulips, or peonies, though also great just on its own.
8 1/8" tall x 6 1/4" widest diameter; 3" across at base and 4 3/4" across at lip. Very good condition, with a bit of minor scratching to the glass here and there and a few tiny dark spots on the etched forms, only noticeable with close inspection. Unmarked.
