I like utilitarian signs that have the capacity to signal meaning based on context, like this vintage Central street sign, which one might use to signify the operational (or decision-making) hub of home or office. The ground reads white but is also reflective, and the black letters (cutouts, adhered to the surface) are the perfect standard street sign font. Just classic.
Made of steel I believe, heavy and not pliable, with two holes at top and bottom center for mounting. Very good used condition, with light rusting around the edges and some surface scratching--all of which I think just make it better. 24 1/2" l x 6"t x 1/16" thick.
