This is not an antique, but it certainly has some age to it, and I really like the fairly rustic approach to what I typically think of as a pretty refined object. Plus the perfectly round raised ring around the glass and perfectly flat handle, which makes me think a bit of a popsicle or lollipop on a stick, and also of shaker bevelled glass hand mirrors. A fun object, great for all sorts of displays--and who can ever have too many magnifiers laying around?
7" long x 3 13/16" wide x 7/18" thick. Very good condition, with a little bit of staining around the perimeter edge of the glass where it meets the wood, no real matter.
