This is about the most beautiful hand tool I can imagine, and having spent a few years vegetable farming, I can say it is also one of the most useful. The burgandy painted wood handle is perfectly tapered for a good grip, and between the fork on one side and hoe blade on the other, this and a good pair of chippers are about all you'd ever need! Plus a handy hook on the end for hanging. The bonus is that yellow paint on the almost heart shaped blade, and the green collar--to my eye just a gorgeous thing.
In great structural condition and worn in all the right ways. I'd bet this thing will last forever. I believe the name of its former owner is carved into the end of the handle. 11 1/2" long x 7" w x 2 3/4"; handle is 1 1/8" across at widest.
