Cheerful Orange Art Deco Czech Teapot with Landscape Decoration

Regular price $44.00

Such a charming teapot! This is actually the second of these I've found, and I'll snatch up more should I find them, as I think they're just fabulous. Made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s or so I'd guess, and transfer decorated in a manner that reminds me a lot of the wonderful work of Clarice Cliff. I just love the combo of bright orange body with this terrific landscape of blue trees against yellow sky and green and pink rolling hills, plus green polka dotted band running above the landscape. The reverse is great as well, like a little window to the larger landscape on the other side. And a great form too. So sweet

The teapot measures 4" tall, 3" in diameter, and 5 3/4" inches from spot to handle. Very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks; there is little paint loss in a few spots and a few surface scratches -- as documented.
